Job Description
As a Waiter at Stoke, you are responsible for providing attentive and professional table service while ensuring guest satisfaction. You will follow service standards, handle orders and payments accurately, and maintain a clean and well-prepared section. This role requires teamwork, strong communication, and consistency in delivering excellent hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Have a good product knowledge of all food menu items, beverages, and wines.
Identify and understand food intolerances and dietary requirements.
Take orders accurately, confirm the order to Guests, and post on the POS.
Know and follow the Sequence of Service (SOS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Keep the restaurant clean and tidy during service hours, and participate in deep weekly cleaning.
Follow the procedures of setting up the restaurant to be ready for the service.
Complete all side work, table-bussing, and resetting in your section.
Process payments and issue receipts correctly.
Upsell to Guests in order to improve revenue.

Requirements
Requirements: Communication and Attitude
Have good English skills, speak clearly, and have good communication and positive feedback to guests, superiors, as well as colleagues.
Engage and interact with Guests in a courteous and professional manner.
Address guest complaints professionally or escalate promptly to the Manager when necessary.
Be open-minded for complaints and compliments when receiving feedback from Guests, managers, and colleagues.
Show a positive attitude at all times while on duty, be enthusiastic, and offer help to Guests and colleagues.
Appearance and Grooming
Wear a clean and full uniform in good condition.
Have perfect personal hygiene (smell, clean, hair, nails, etc.).
Smile, be cheerful, and keep a professional body language, gesture, and posture.
Be punctual.
Working Hours
Work week is 48 hours. There are 6 days off plus public holiday
